Stress consists of the mental or physical tensions (reactions) we develop after encountering a challenging day, person, situation or environment. Stress is one of the most common causes of mental, emotional and physical based illnesses and it has a tendency to target weakness in the body. For example, if one has allergies, these allergies will react or become aggravated when one is stressed.

How can Hypnotherapy help with Stress Management?

People are different: some have a high tolerance for stress and others have a low tolerance. Similarly to cases of depression, clients with low tolerance for stress are taught how to handle their stressful situations in order to increase their tolerance level. Additionally, clients are taught how to subconsciously deep breath whenever they encounter highly stressful situations. These exercises will cause them to relax and calm their bodies, which will consequently bring their stress level down.
